THUTHUVALAI SOUP RECIPE




GARDEN TO THE KITCHEN  THUTHUVALAI

INGREDIENTS:

              THUTHUVALAI leaf       - 1cup 
              TOMATO                          - 3 small / 1 big
              MOONGA dal                   - 1 tbsp
              CURRY leaf                       -3
              GARLIC                            - 1
              JEERA                               - 1/4 sp
              PEPPER                            - few
              TURMERIC                      - a pinch
               HING                                - a pinch
              SALT                                 - as per taste 
              BUTTER                           - 1 tbsp
    
   
    # Heat a pan, add butter little fry out the leaf alone well, until the thorn 
         becomes soft (as shown in the pic).After got cooked remove it let it cool.
   # In the same pan add little butter to it add crushed garlic, jeera, pepper, dal, 
         tomato & curry leaf.
   # Fry it for 2 mits then let it cool.
   # Now put up everything together along with salt, hing & turmeric and grind it to 
          a smooth paste adding little water.
   # Strain the paste, pour water as much required and boil it up well.
   # If you wish the soup to be rich can add milk 1/2 cup along with it.
   # Serve hot.
