APPAM DOSA






INGREDIENTS:

IDLY RICE                - 3 cups
URAD DAL                - 1 cup
FENUGREEK           - 1/4 tsp
COCONUT                - 1 cup
COOKING SODA     - 1 pinch 
SALT                   - as required
SUGAR                      - 1tsp 
 

# Soak rice, urad dal, fenugreek together for 2 hrs.
# Grind all together along with coconut smoothly.
# Let the batter ferment for 6 hrs.
# After got fermented to the batter add soda, salt & sugar.
# Dilute the batter to rava dosa consistency.
# Heat pan pour batter like we make rava dosa. Add oil & ghee and close it with a lid and cook it in medium low flame. Take away  the lid wait for few seconds and then remove from the pan.
# No need to turn the dosa.
# SIDE DISH: Sweetened coconut milk (only 1st part should be used), coconut chutney, onion chutney, vada curry, garlic chutney.
