CRUNCHY CHUNKY





INGREDIENTS:

SOYA CHUNKS small      - 250gms
MAIDA                     - 3 tbsp
BESAN flour               - 3 tbsp
RICE flour                 - 1 tbsp
SALT                      - to taste
CHILLI powder           - 1/2 tsp
GINGER GARLIC paste  - 1/4 tsp
COOKING SODA         - a pinch
SUGAR                  - 1/2 tsp
WATER                 - 1 liter(for boiling)
OIL                     - for deep fry

# Heat water in a pan, when it starts boiling add in the soya chunks.
# Cook it till it becomes soft and spongy.
# Drain the water completely and let it cool down. (use the cool drained water for plants it enriches the soil and helps in plant growth).
# After it becomes cool, gently squeeze the chunks to drain the water contained in it.
# Transfer the chunks to a bowl then sprinkle all the above ingredients on the chunks and mix it up firmly. Could use very little water (if necessary) to bind them as shown in the pic. 
# Now deep fry them in oil till it becomes crispy.
# Serve it hot & crispy.

SIDE DISH: Tomato ketchup
             MAYO dip: Take little mayonnaise to it add few drops of tomato ketchup, little red
chillly powder & mixed herbs little. Mix it up & have it.
