TRES LECHES CAKE

ITALIAN  CAKE



no baking, no cooking

INGREDIENTS:

 STANDARDISED milk                 - 1/2 cup
 FULL CREAM milk                    - 1/2 cup
 SWEETENED CONDENSED milk     - 1/2 cup
 SPONGE cake (plain)                - 250kg
 FRESH CREAM (full fat)            - 100ml
 POWDERED SUGAR                  - 5tbsp  
 ALMONDS (grated)                 - as required 
 STRAWBERRY(optional)            - for toppings


* In a cup mix all three milk and keep aside.
* Poke the cake all over like shown in the image using a fork.
* Take a pan slightly heat the cake for a minute (do not burn it) or heat it in microwave for 5sec or till the cake becomes warm. This is to make the cake absorb the milk we are gonna pour. 
* Arrange the cake in a plate that has walls. Make two layers of cake.
* Pour the milk mix on the cake until the cake becomes little soggy.
* Refrigerate the cake for an hr.
* Beat the fresh cream till u get peaks then add the powdered sugar and beat it twice.
* After an hr take out the cake and spread the cream on the cake evenly.
* Sprinkle almonds on the cake all around the cake.
* Slit the strawberry into two and top it on the corners of the cake(optional).
* Refrigerate the cake again for half an hr and then its ready to serve. 
* Always refrigerate the leftover cake. Do not keep it out.


NOTE:
 *Instead of fresh cream could use TROPICAL whipping cream(non dairy) the best whipping cream for cakes.
* This cake could also be made in individual cups.
