 TANGY BELLPEPPER MASALA







INGREDIENTS:

BELLPEPPER      - 1
(capsicum)
POTATO           - 2
TOMATO          - 4
GREEN PEAS     - 1/4 cup
GARLIC           - 10
CINNAMON       - 2 inch
CLOVE            - 2
RED CHILLI      - 3
PEPPER           - 5
COCONUT         - 1/4 cup
SALT              - to taste
CORIANDER leaf  - little
OIL                - 3 tbsp


# Pressure cook potato, green peas & tomato.
# In a pan pour little oil add cinnamon, clove, chilli, pepper, garlic & coconut fry them well and let it cool and grind it along with cooked tomato.
# Peel the skin & Chop the potato & capsicum into cubes.
# In a pan add remaining oil and add in the capsicum fry it well.
# Then add the potato and fry twice, then add in the grounded paste & salt and let it boil well.
# Add water to get the masala consistency.
# Finally add in finely chopped coriander leaf & put off the fire.
# Serve hot with poori, roti & dosa.


NOTE : This masala goes best with PALAK POORI as shown in the image.
