MUSUMUSUKKAI DOSA






TYPE 1:
INGREDIENTS:

MUSUMUSUKKAI keerai - 1 cup
IDLI RICE               - 2 cup
GREEN CHILLI         - 4
SALT                   - to taste

# Soak idli rice for 1 hr.
# Wash the musumusukkai keerai and keep aside.
# After 1 hr of rice soaking along with it add in all the remaining ingredients and grind together.
# Grind the batter smooth.
# Make dosa immediately need not ferment.
# Pour dosa like rava dosa.
# Serve the crispy dosa with coconut chutney.

TYPE 2:
INGREDIENTS :

IDLY- DOSA BATTER      - 4 cups
MUSUMUSUKKAI keerai    - 1 cup
GREEN CHILLI            - 4
SALT                      - to taste

# In a mixer jar add in keerai, salt & chilli and grind them into fine paste.
# To it add little idly batter and grind it once ( just to blend everything together).
# Pour the grounded paste into the remaining idly - dosa batter & mix it up well.
# Make dosa as usual & serve with chutney.
# With the same batter could also make idly.

NOTE: 
# Use ghee along with oil while making dosa to enhance the taste.
# Could also use the keerai's fruit in VATTHA KULAMBU instead of sundakkai.
# Could also add little jeera & pepper while grinding the batter (fry them in little oil before grinding them).

GARDENING TIP : DRY THE FRUIT IN SHADE AND DIG IT THE SOIL & WATER IT DAILY LITTLE TO GROW THE PLANT.
