MORINGA FLOWER TAMARIND CURRY





INGREDIENTS:

MORINGA FLOWER            - 100gms
SMALL ONION                 - 10 pc
GARLIC                         - 10 pc
TOMATO                        - 1
TAMARIND WATER             - amla size
CORIANDER powder            - 1 tbsp
KULAMBU MILAGAI powder    - 1 tsp
(or rasam powder)
PEPPER powder                 - 1/4 tsp
JEERA powder                  - 1/4 tsp
HING                            - 2 pinch
JAGGERY                        - 2 tbsp
SALT                            - to taste
GINGELLY OIL                  - 5 tbsp
MUSTARD                       - little
FENUGREEK                    - 4
CURRY LEAF                   - few
CHANA dal                     - 1/4 tsp
URAD dal                       - 1/4 tsp
WATER                         - 1 cup

* In a pan heat 4 tbsp of oil, add in mustard then fenugreek, Chana dal, urad dal & curry leaf.
* Add in onion & garlic (need not chop) and fry till well cooked and soft.
* To it add chopped tomato fry well.
* Now add in moringa flower and fry it till soft & slightly color changes (sprinkle little water).
* Add in kulambu milagai powder, salt, pepper powder, coriander powder, jeera powder, hing & jaggery and mix up well.
* To it add tamarind water & water and boil it well for 10mits in low flame until the curry becomes thick like sambar.
* Put of the fire and pour in the remaining gingelly oil .
* Serve it with hot white rice & applam.
