BELL PEPPER CHUTNEY
INGREDNTS :
BELL PEPPER - 1 medium sized
(capsicum)
ONION - 1
TOMATO - 2
RED CHILLI - 3
SALT - to taste
TAMARIND - 1 eye
ASAFOETIDA - a pinch
OIL - 3 tsp
TEMPERING : OIL, MUSTARD, CURRY LEAF.
* Pour oil in a frying pan and add red chilli.
* Then add in roughly chopped onion & tamarind.
* Once onion is half cooked add in roughly chopped tomato and fry.
* Then add in roughly chopped bell pepper, salt & asafoetida and fry till capsicum is cooked well.
* Let the veggies to cool down & make a fine paste in mixer.
* Pour water little to get it in chutney consistency.
* Finally temper it.
* Serve it with idly, dosa or hot basmati rice.
Very yummy chutney. I tried for Wheat dosa 🥰
