YAM PARATHA
INGREDIENTS:
SWEET POTATO(yam) - 300 gms
WHEAT FLOUR - 2 cups
ONION - 1
CARROT - 1
GREEN CHILLI - 2
GINGER - 1/2 inch
CORIANDER leaf - little
CHILLI POWDER - 1/2 tsp
TURMERIC POWDER - 1/4 tsp
PEPPER POWDER - 1/4 tsp
JEERA POWDER - 1/4 tsp
GARAM MASALA - 1/2 tsp
AMCHUR POWDER - 1/4 tsp
SALT - to taste
AJWAIN - to taste
KASURI METHI - little
OIL - 2 tbsp
WATER - little
# Pressure cook sweet potato for 3 whistle.
# Peel the skin & mash it and keep it aside.
# Take a wide bowl add in the flour to it add all the dry ingredients and mix it well.
# Now add in grated carrot, onion, ginger & chili.
# Add in finely chopped coriander leaf and give it a mix.
# To it add in the mashed potato and make it as a dough.
# Add little water just to bind everything.
# Finally oil up the dough and let it rest for 10 mits.
