SPROUTED MOONG CURRY







IDNGREIENTS:

SPROUTED MOONG   - 1/2 cup
ONION                      - 1
TOMATO                    - 1 
CAPSICUM                 - 1/4 cup
POTATO                     - 1
G & G PASTE              - 1/4 tsp
KASURI METHI          - 1/4 tsp
CHILLI POWDER        - 1/2 tsp
JEERA POWDER        - 1/4 tsp
DHANIYA POWDER    - 1 tsp
GARAM MASALA        - 1 tsp
TURMERIC POWDER  - 1/4 tsp
CHAT MASALA           - 1/4 tsp
SALT                         - to taste
CINNAMON              - 1 "
CLOVE                      - 2
CARDAMOM              - 2
BAY LEAF                  - 1
FRESH CREAM          - 1 tbsp (optional) 
HONEY                     - 1/2 tsp
WATER                     - 1 cup
OIL                          - 2 tbsp
GHEE                      - 1/2 tsp



* Pressure cook sprouts & potato together for 3 whistles.
* In a pan pour oil & ghee, after ghee melts add in the spices cinnamon, clove, cardamom & bay leaf and sauté for 1 minute (good aroma u would get).
* To it add onion finely chopped and ginger & garlic pate (G & G paste) sauté  till raw smell of g & g leaves.
* Add in finely chopped tomato, sauté well till soft & mushy.
* Add in all the powders, masalas & salt and fry well.
* Add mashed potato & sprouts, pour water to curry consistency and let it boil well. 
* Add in kasuri methi & honey and boil for 2 mits.
* Switch off the stove and garnish it with fresh cream & serve hot.

NOTE:
  # This goes best with poori, roti, dosa, left over rice roti & jeera pulav.
  # Follow the same recipe for any "PULSES".
